An Island Worth the Trip
There's plenty to do here. Hike the cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, kayak across Ice Lake, cycle the back roads, or cast a line for bass and pike. In winter, the same trails open up for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Evergreen Resort sits on the shores of Ice Lake, near the heart of it all. The largest freshwater island in the world, Manitoulin sits in northern Lake Huron. It spans 2,766 square kilometres of forest, farmland, and over a hundred inland lakes, with a history shaped by Anishinaabe communities going back thousands of years.

Heritage Restored, New Ground Broken
The redevelopment clears the defunct central office and end-of-life cabins while carefully restoring five original units worth keeping. Five brand-new cabins are constructed alongside them — owned and operated under three purpose-built limited companies beneath Trinh Family Holdings.

Twenty modern Nordic prefab cabins bring Scandinavian minimalism to the Manitoulin lakefront. Ten adventure skydomes offer a more immersive stay with panoramic views of the night sky. Five glamping teepees round out the mix — every level of wildness, none of the sacrifice on comfort.
